Rui Paiva

Born in 1954 in Mozambique, he graduated in Economics and later, in 1984, he completed Plastic Experiences Courses at the National Society of Fine Arts.
In 1979, he traveled to Macau where his interactions with Chinese artists proved fruitful, leading him to exhibit in various Asian cities. He published a book of drawings and also illustrated poetry and essay books by several local poets and writers, with his drawings being published in various Chinese and Portuguese newspapers.
Currently, he serves as the President of the Fiscal Council of the National Society of Fine Arts.
