Raonel

Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1966, this artist holds a degree in Engraving and Drawing from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts. With a diverse artistic background, he is not only a painter, engraver, and sculptor, but also works as an art critic. Additionally, he has established himself as an illustrator, creating cover art for various artists, illustrating stories, contributing to magazines, and even designing limited edition poetry books and award-winning literary covers.

Throughout his career, this artist has exhibited his works in Cuba as well as in other countries such as Japan, Brazil, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Notably, in 2001, he participated in several exhibitions in Portugal, including the Porto 2001, European Capital of Culture event, as well as the International Exhibition of Painting, Sculpture, Multimedia, and Video Art. His works have been showcased in prestigious venues such as the Meridien Hotel, the Art-House Gallery, the Casa da Guia de Cascais, and the Vila Nova de Cerveira Biennial of Contemporary Art. Furthermore, he has collaborated with the Ceramic Atelier of Porto.
