Patricia Noronha da Costa's journey (b. 1965), daughter of the well-known painter who passed away in 2020, has been marked by the dialogue between art and science, of which she is a reference example in our country. With a PhD in Biology, she has dedicated herself to university teaching in this field and has published numerous scientific articles in international journals. The exhibitions she has been conducting showcase the intersection of knowledge that underpins her established trajectory, which includes a post-graduate degree in artistic studies with a focus on the use of microorganisms in art. This specialization is reflected in her artistic work presented in various public and private spaces. In 2006, she developed the art&science project, "different perspectives on scientific objects." This approach towards knowledge tends to abolish the boundaries between various disciplines, as precisely expressed in the artwork presented today. A fabric of microforms, in motion against colorful backgrounds, represents the unknown that governs the visible and eludes the distracted gaze of everyday life.
