Born in Lisbon in 1977, Alexandra Prieto is a Portuguese artist specializing in sculpture and drawing. She obtained her degree in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon and completed the Drawing Course at the National Society of Fine Arts. Throughout her career, Alexandra has exhibited her work in various galleries and institutions across Portugal. Some notable exhibitions include "A Prieto e a Cores" at Palácio Boullosa, Centro Galego in Lisbon (2007), "A Mulher e o seu Mundo" at the Centro Português de Serigrafia in Lisbon (2005), and "Arte no Feminino IX" at the Municipal Auditorium of Vendas Novas (2003). She has also participated in group exhibitions such as "Tout Tout Pour Ma cherie" at Galeria M94 (2002), "Escultura na Praça 2000" at FBAL, Lisbon City Council (2000), and "T9" at Galeria Zé dos Bois (2000). In addition to her artistic pursuits, Alexandra has ventured into the world of fashion by creating her own brand, ART ON SHOES ALEXANDRA PRIETO COLLECTION. This unique concept combines her artistic style with an exclusive line of shoes designed by Alexandra. The collection is represented in stores in various European cities, including Lisbon, Barcelona, and Amsterdam.
