Ricardo Passaporte
Ricardo Passaporte (1987) establishes a parallel with Abstract Expressionism, focusing his work on the process of intense gestural expression. His paintings seem to be non-objective investigations of a line that separates painting from sculpture. His work values an urban experience, where the material itself and movement are the main focuses of his pieces. His processes of creation are merely disoriented notes; however, the artist clearly cultivates the methods by which he provokes coincidences and tries the unexpected.
In 2015, as part of the CPS's 30th anniversary, he participated in the exhibition "1/81" at the Côa Museum, for which he created a work in the CPS Studio.
