Márcio Ficko is immersed in an urban and post-modern culture that has inspired his experience in Street Art, particularly in mural painting with a focus on letters and stylized forms. He later expanded to other mediums such as canvas, wood, objects, and paper. His style is characterized by geometric abstraction and op art, and these serigraphy compositions subtly evoke the forms and elements of nature, highlighting flat colors and ascending rhythms. Water blues, blood reds in autumnal earth tones, circles, small suns, trees, birds, miniature mountains, and rays of light emanating from a center where the metaphors of a poetic gaze connecting the Cosmos and the soul come together.

Márcio Ficko

Born and currently living in Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil, this artist began their artistic production in 2002 when they became involved with Street Art culture, developing letter and stylized form paintings on murals. They later experimented with other mediums, such as canvas, wood, objects (such as t-shirts and bags), and paper.
