In the artwork "Dreams and Reveries," if Don Quixote wandered on a chessboard, imprisoned by the castle of intertwined destinies, his appearance would possibly resemble this. However, the character in José Faria's prints seems to reject any connection other than the author's reveries around a fatal yet expectant solitude.
