Partnership:
Fables for Adults by Gabriel Garcia (b. 1977) showcases his dedication to painting, drawing, graphic work, sculpture, and installation. In his artistic journey, he intertwines various influences and aligns himself with some of the founding movements of 20th-century art, such as expressionism, metaphysical painting, surrealism (1924), and narrative figuration, as well as consumer society mythologies centered on the power of images that reproduce reality and its own fiction. In addition to these references, Garcia draws inspiration from cinema, magazines, the internet, and the universe of fables and children's tales, which are beautifully portrayed in his serigraphies, captivating us with their freshness, apparent innocence, and humor.
