According to Hellmut Wohl, the paintings and drawings by Cruzeiro Seixas form the largest, most coherent, and most significant collection of surrealist expression made by a Portuguese artist.
His serigraphy works dazzle us with the spectacle of a world in eternal metamorphosis, which is not a mirror of reality, but its unknown reverse, with the movement of a communion between all kingdoms and their creatures, where nothing seems, ever, to have a definitive form. Strange and composite figures, ambiguously conflicting or harmoniously fused characters.
