In the artwork displayed, Filipe Patrício, a young artist, explores the chromatic research of contrasting harmonies. He skillfully combines warm and cool colors that interact with geometric patterns. The warm tones are unexpectedly cooled down by the presence of black, while oranges and blues vibrate subtly near shades of grey. The blues reveal a hidden golden heart. These serigraphs showcase Patrício's mastery of creating a vibrant interplay of colors. The focus is on a keyboard of chromatic sensations, which serves as a vehicle for emotions and discoveries. It invites the viewer on a visual and emotional adventure through the artist's palette.

Filipe Patrício

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1957, this self-taught artist began his career in 1978 and had his first exhibition in 1980. Hugo Beja has written about the artist's work, stating that "In Filipe Patrício's art, some pertinent issues of our theoretical time are reflected, highlighting situations in our culture (where the Fractal is present) and a technocratic society versus the reconciliation of Man with his essence, denouncing (and this is the factor of triplicity) the multiplying and systemic nature of automatism, which opposes the "natural" or almost nullifies the value of biological, spontaneous, and musical rhythms of Existence." Rewritten text: Born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1957, this artist is a self-taught individual who began his journey in the world of visual arts in 1978. His debut exhibition took place in 1980. Hugo Beja, an art critic, has described the artist's work as a reflection of pertinent issues in our current theoretical era, showcasing elements of our culture (with the presence of the Fractal) and the dichotomy between a technocratic society and the search for harmony between mankind and its essence. Through his art, the artist denounces the multiplying and systemic nature of automatism, which opposes the "natural" and diminishes the value of biological, spontaneous, and musical rhythms of existence.
