FABLES FOR ADULTS
Gabriel Garcia (b.1977) has been dedicated to painting, drawing, graphic work, sculpture and installation. His journey mixes diverse influences and membership in some of the founding aspects of 20th-century art, such as expressionism, metaphysical painting, surrealism (1924), or narrative figuration, as well as the mythologies of consumer society centered on the power of images that reproduce reality and its own fiction. In addition to these references, cinema, magazines, the internet, and the universe of fables and children's stories should be added, which are very present in the serigraphs that enchant us today with their freshness, apparent naivety, and humor in their representation.
