THE POWER OF GESTURE

Her serigraphy creates a semi-abstract space that singularly reminds us of the famous Lisbon studio of Maria Helena Vieira da Silva (1934-1935), but decomposing perspective in the intercrossing lines that swirl within it, "broken" still by the earthy effect of calligraphy overlapping illegible writings. As if we were facing a scene where the gesture that expresses writing is the true protagonist.
