"SUGGESTION FOR MOTHER'S DAY"

CHILDHOOD ON VISIT

Joana Rosa, born in 1959 in Lisbon, has seen her work acclaimed in prestigious international exhibitions in Germany, Spain, England, and the United States of America. Within her protected world, in her toy-filled rooms that belong exclusively to children and their dolls, miniature doubles of themselves, adults are excluded, except for those who, like her, have managed to preserve the innocence and the ability to be amazed by secret joys and subtle splendors. In another one of her works, fairies blossom in poses of an imaginary dance, unfolding in pale and enticing colors.
