Gabriel Garcia, a young artist and a promising figure of his generation, follows in the footsteps of surrealistic painter António Da Costa (1914-1990) from the Azores. In his work, Garcia combines various influential sources, such as cinema, photography, the internet, and comic books. Inspired by his renowned predecessor Bosch (1450-1516), this artwork presents a theatrical scene reminiscent of a grotesque film, where characters wearing masks of both comedy and drama emerge from our everyday lives, engaging in power dynamics and helpless seduction.
