Cities of Absence The scenarios between ruins in Rodrigo Ferreira's paintings and current serigraphy are built for a wandering of the soul, incomplete cities that open up, revealing a glimpse beyond the spirit, its mystery, while also expressing the pain and magical fascination of existence. Light emerges from the shadows, softening the delicate stillness of the stones, the apparent weight of matter, the monumental gracefulness of these architectures, their porticoes, columns, and pedestals, calling, in their incompleteness, for a new city lost in the labyrinths of time and memory.
