Partnership:
Inspired by the poetry of English poet Shelley, which he actually transcribes in this work, the young and already renowned Spanish artist Hilário Bravo poetically represents "the golden glow of the setting sun," the sparkling clouds, and the feeling of "incorporeal joy" that emanates from a beloved and accomplice nature. It is a seduction of a space that is simultaneously intimate and cosmic, allowing us to overcome the anguish in the face of the inevitable passage of time, as is evident in the entirety of his painting.
Hilário Bravo
Born in Cáceres, Spain, in 1955, Hilario Bravo began dedicating himself intensively to various artistic activities after his contact with the Artistic Association of Guipúzcoa in 1972. In 1984 and 1985, he embarked on a journey to Berlin, followed by trips to Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, and Munich, with the main purpose of enriching his artistic education. He was an honorary guest of the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, in 1995/96. Hilario Bravo's work is represented in numerous museums and collections. With a strong literary influence, he often combines the simplification of forms and elements inspired by nature with the inclusion of poems or words in his artwork.
