Born in Paris in 1949, this Portuguese artist later settled in Brazil in 1978. After graduating in Art and Design from the Chelsea School of Art in London in 1973, they went on to hold solo and group exhibitions in Brazil, Portugal, and Macau. Their talent was recognized with the Amadeo Souza Cardoso Prize for Contemporary Artists. In addition to their artistic career, they also worked as a professor, teaching at various institutions such as the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts de Bourges in France and the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Laje in Rio de Janeiro. Their works can be found in esteemed collections including João Bosco, Paulo Klabin, João Satamini, and the Museums of Modern Art in Bahia and Rio de Janeiro, among others. Sadly, the artist passed away in 2003.
