Magda Ćwik, a Polish painter, muralist, art director, graphic designer, and video producer, currently lives and works in Barcelona. Her goal as an artist is to unify opposites and achieve balance and harmony between thought and action. She combines diverse areas of knowledge, such as science and esotericism, to attain a profound understanding of reality. The serigraphy "A Rose for You," filled with symbols, is a kind of cosmogony in the surrealistic style. It is colorful and vitalistic, inspired by the lithograph "Drawing Hands" by the famous Dutch artist M.C. Escher (1898-1972). The shell is the initial cradle of this creation, where the eyes represent knowledge and supernatural perception, in a loving harmony between the human, cosmic, and divine (3 of cups). This artwork is a precious gift, a rose from the artist to each of us.
