Partnership:
In these two versions of an exquisite etching, sculptor Andrés Alcantara reconstructs the magic and tragic essence of old bullfights, a noble theme in Spanish painting that has already inspired Goya and Picasso. As a metaphor for human destiny, its mysteries and trials are portrayed through the image of the bull and the evocation of a labyrinthine spiral, sharply outlined against a vast and unsettling sky.
