In this context, "Sonho para Amália" refers to an artistic representation or creation dedicated to Amália Rodrigues, the great fado diva and iconic figure of 20th-century Portuguese culture. The statement, made by Maria João Fernandes from AICA (International Association of Art Critics), suggests that in the creations of Carlos Barroco, edited by CPS in partnership with the Amália Rodrigues Foundation, there is a rare and refined representation that combines visual and poetic elements. It implies that these artworks convey a sense of elegance and beauty, capturing the essence of Amália's legacy. The reference to other artists, such as Leonel Moura from Portugal and Arman from France, who were also inspired by Amália, further emphasizes her lasting influence on the arts.
