VIRTUAL ARCHITECTURES
The compositions of sculptor and ceramist Paulo Óscar for printmaking reveal a desire to guide the drawing through regular structures inspired by geometry. Virtual architectures, inspired by his ceramic pieces, forms to be made and undone according to the freedom and rhythms of creation. Intense color inhabits these purely mental spaces and transforms them into plastic icons of a contemporary grammar of the relationships between the interior and the exterior, equally evident in his stoneware piece, "Nascente" ("Spring"). In the terracotta piece "Fronteiras" ("Borders"), it is the spiral line that guides the relationship with space.
