VIRTUAL ARCHITECTURES

The compositions of sculptor and ceramist Paulo Óscar for printmaking reveal a desire to guide the drawing through regular structures inspired by geometry. Virtual architectures, inspired by his ceramic pieces, forms to make and undo according to the freedom and rhythms of creation. Intense color inhabits these purely mental spaces and transforms them into plastic icons of a very contemporary grammar of the relationships between the interior and exterior, also evident in his stoneware piece, "Nascente" ("Spring"). In "Fronteiras" ("Borders"), on the other hand, it is the spiral line that guides the relationship with space.
