MYTHOLOGIES OF EVERYDAY LIFE Telmo Alcobia was born in Lisbon in 1980. He has a degree in Painting and a master's degree in Drawing from FBAUL - Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon. In the two color variants of the screen prints he presents us, the blacks accentuate the dramaticity of the violence and aggression of the war images that "assault" us continuously, as we are targets of an absurdity imposed on us with the absence of a cosmic dialogue capable of transmitting balance and harmony.

Telmo Alcobia's artworks explore the theme of mythology in everyday life. Through his screen prints, he delves into the dramatic and violent nature of war imagery. The use of contrasting blacks adds intensity to his compositions, capturing the attention of the viewer. Alcobia questions the absurdity of the world we live in, where violence and aggression seem to prevail over balance and harmony. Through his powerful visuals, he invites us to reflect on the impact of these mythologies on our daily lives.
