In these serigraphs, Júlio Pomar pays tribute to a prominent figure in the contemporary artistic scene, singer Carlos do Carmo, a great interpreter of the sensitivity and lyricism that mark our culture. These masterful portraits denote the figurative inclination of a large part of the painter's work, subverted by the impulse of a gesturality combined with the perfect mastery of a palette, where cool and warm tones harmonize perfectly, a trademark of an unmistakable style.
