THE INNOCENCE OF BOSCH

If it were possible to transform the fantastic and apocalyptic universe of Bosch (the genius of Dutch painting from the 15th and 16th centuries) by bestowing upon it the innocence of a child's magical gaze, the result would perhaps be this kaleidoscope of figures from ancient fables, from a time when animals spoke and humans had not yet been stripped of their openness to the intimate mysteries of nature and its own nature. Gabriel Garcia seduces us in his print creations with a dreamlike atmosphere, a marvelous setting where we witness the procession of ancestral fears and future dreams of humanity, disguised in the costume of innocent and magical fantasy.
