Suzanne Anker
Born on August 6, 1946 in New York, Suzanne Anker is a visual artist and theorist who explores the imagery of genetics. She studied fine arts at Brooklyn College and completed her studies at the University of Colorado, where she obtained her Master's degree in 1976.
As early as 1974, Anker began experimenting with the technique of paper casting. By exploring both the sculptural aspect and the possibilities of print reproduction in this new medium, she emerged as a pioneer and exponent of this art form.
Over the past decade, Suzanne Anker has been delving into the connections between art and genetics, using scientific concepts in an artistic context. Her work has been exhibited in various locations in the United States and internationally.
