Pedro Cembranos was awarded in 2007 at the Estampa - International Print and Contemporary Art Editions Salon, which earned him a residency scholarship at CPS in Lisbon. Supported by the screen printing team, he developed these two projects for screen printing on fabric. Exhibiting since 2000, Pedro Cembranos has received several grants to support project development and is already represented in important collections such as the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid, the Cajamadrid Collection, and the Pilar i Joan Miró Foundation.

Pedro Cembranos

Pedro Cembranos was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1973. Throughout his artistic career, which is always connected to graphic works, he has received several awards and grants, including the Druckwerkstatt Bentlage Foundation Grant in 2007 in Münster, Germany, the Estampa Prize from CPS - Centro Português de Serigrafia in 2007 in Lisbon, Portugal, and an Honorable Mention in GENERACIÓN 2006, Art Awards and Grants from Cajamadrid in Madrid. He has participated in various group exhibitions and held a solo exhibition titled (IN)oportunidades at the Alfara Gallery in Oviedo, Spain in 2008, and the solo exhibition Luces at the José Rincón Gallery in Madrid in 2005. His works are represented in several museums and institutions.
