This artwork consists of 16 small engravings that form a unique piece. Embracing versatility and the element of surprise, the artwork can be stored in an exclusive bag designed by the artist and produced by Lottusse, a traditional Majorcan craft company founded in 1877, or displayed fully unfolded. The fabric, inspired by the colors of peacock feathers, was manufactured by Teixits Vicens, an artisanal textile workshop in Mallorca founded in 1854, using a technique commonly known as ikat.

About the artist:

Mónica Fuster holds a degree in sculpture from the University of Fine Arts of Barcelona, where she also obtained her doctorate in 2002. The theme of the Inner Moon graphic project continues her longstanding artistic research into the relationship between macrocosm and microcosm, which she began in 2006. Her interest in artist books has more recently led her to create books that transform into sculptural objects. The current Inner Moon project consists of 16 small engravings (etching and drypoint) that form a unique piece.
