Carpe Diem Art and Research, directed by Lourenço Egreja, is a contemporary art center that has shown great cultural dynamism in promoting the Young Art Prize, exhibitions, conferences, artist talks, educational service programs, workshops, and guided tours aimed at diverse audiences. It embraces an experimental approach by focusing on the development of the creative process, new artistic languages, and interdisciplinarity.

In collaboration with CPS, today we appreciate the work of 10 outsider artists residing in Casa de Saúde do Telhal, showcasing styles marked by great authenticity that arises from the freedom to deal with various languages to shape "authorized" emotions, whether or not inhibited by a society that often hinders harmonious personal growth.
