The Reinvented Paradise

Dorindo de Carvalho, a historic and prominent name in Portuguese graphic arts and illustration of the second half of the 20th century, is also a renowned artist from the same period. In this serigraphy work, a kind of reinvented vision of Paradise, he once again presents us with the essence of his plastic language, marked by lines and contrasting primary colors. It is a celebration of a festive palette where, like Matisse, a joy remains from Almada to the most serious thing in life.
