A FANTASTIC UNIVERSE OF SOCIAL INTERVENTION

Estonian artist Pavel Grebenjuk, who graduated from the Academy of Arts in his country in 2011 and has been exhibiting since 2010, demonstrates in these prints, in two color variants, his connection to the contemporary movement of Street Art, social intervention, and critique, as well as his relationship with a somewhat fantastical and surreal imaginary.

A metaphor for contemporary fears and ghosts, the fear of natural and nuclear disasters, in the midst of which man loses his face, becoming a caricature of himself and an entire civilization, which is clearly evident in his version of a loving embrace reduced to an image of a red and black entwining, passion under the sign of drama.
