RITUALS OF EVERYDAY LIFE
Brazilian and international artist Jayr Peny, with a highly modern language, refines his forms through the impulse of line and synthesizes his colors, aiming for contrasts while seeking harmony. In his work, he reimagines the well-known theme of nymphs, opting for a prejudice-free language that favors robustness and a certain androgyny over the traditional and sometimes insipid delicacy of these figures. They become a true swarm, wandering through the infinite corridors of art history.
