João Maio Pinto

João Maio Pinto was born in Caramulo in 1974. He graduated in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Porto and has since developed a career as an illustrator and graphic designer, collaborating with various publications and publishers such as Observer, Internazionale, Blitz, Silva!Designers, Público, Groovie Records, M2 graphics, Rock Bar Sabotage, Abysmo, Terratreme, Equations/Lovers & Lollypops, among others. He is also a professor in the Design department of the School of Arts and Design in Caldas da Rainha. With a passion for vibrant colors and bold shapes, João's artwork explores the intersection between illustration, graphic design, and fine arts. His distinctive style captivates viewers with its playful yet thought-provoking compositions. Inspired by nature, music, and everyday life, João's work reflects his unique perspective and creative vision. Each piece tells a story, inviting the audience to immerse themselves in the artist's imaginative world. With numerous exhibitions and awards to his name, João's talent and dedication to his craft continue to impress and inspire.
