Partnership:
Artwork created as part of the Autotelematic Spider Bots project, a robotic installation of artificial life. The installation consists of 10 "spider" sculptures that interact with the audience in real time, autonomously modifying their behaviors based on interactions between themselves, the viewer, their environment, and their power source.
Ken Rinaldo, an American artist known for his multimedia installations, explores the intersection of art and biology, particularly in the realm of digital imagery. In this current series of digital prints available in four color variants, Rinaldo's aesthetic concerns are evident as he enigmatically merges the organic and inorganic, the animal and technological worlds. These compositions are directly related to his Spider Bot project, which combines elements of spiders and robots.
