The Marvelous in Everyday Life

António Viana's screen prints, with their four color variations, portray narratives that are both naive and surreal, unfolding tales of wonder crafted to provide an escape from our daily lives. Within these prints, we find a sense of disenchantment amidst the verdant paradises of childhood.

Using the technique of serigraphy, Viana adds a touch of gold leaf, elevating the visual experience and adding a shimmering quality to the artwork. With each print, the artist invites us to journey into a world where the extraordinary intertwines with the ordinary, creating a captivating and thought-provoking visual dialogue. Through his neo-figurative style, Viana brings to life a sense of magic and possibility, reminding us of the enchantment that can be found in the everyday.
