Pedro Homem de Melo

Born in Lisbon in 1959, this artist moved to Rio de Janeiro at the age of 16, where they obtained a degree in Architecture and began painting.
Drawing inspiration from nature, their paintings exhibit a solitary magnitude with a precise geometric synthesis, enveloping and enchanting us with their colors.
In 2016, they exhibited at Sala Branca Fine Arts in Lisbon, and also presented their works at the Sá da Costa bookstore in the same year.
In 2020, they had a solo exhibition at the Temporary Exhibition Hall of the Casa Museu Medeiro e Almeida in Lisbon.
They have held various exhibitions in Rio de Janeiro and have also worked on set designs.
Their works can be found in private and public collections in Portugal and abroad, including countries such as Germany, Angola, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Spain, the United States, France, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. They are currently based in Lisbon, where they continue to develop their art.
