Born in San Sebastián in 1944, this artist studied at the School of Fine Arts in San Fernando, Madrid. In 1969, they were awarded a scholarship by the French Government for a six-month stay in Paris, and in 1980, they received a grant from the Juan March Foundation. Their work has been exhibited in various galleries in Spain and Italy, and they are represented in the collections of prestigious museums and institutions such as the Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum in Madrid, the Juan March Foundation in Madrid, the National Library in Madrid, the Municipal Museum in Madrid, the Museum of Modern Art in Bilbao, the Provincial Museum in Vitoria, the Palace of La Moncloa in Madrid, and the Museum of Art and History in Durango.
