Born in Lisbon in 1940, this artist studied at the Cooperativa Gravura in Lisbon and at Ateliê 17 in Paris, under the guidance of S.W. Hayter. They obtained a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Rotterdam. Throughout their career, they were awarded several grants by the Dutch Ministry of Culture and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Their work is included in various collections, both in Portugal and abroad.
Tragically, this talented artist passed away in July 2020 at the age of 80 in Amsterdam.
