Joana Geraldes

Joana Geraldes has been working as a printer at Centro Português de Serigrafia since 2018. Born in 1991, in Entroncamento, she graduated in Equipment Design (2012) and Drawing (2015) at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon. It was in this “home” that she learned the basics of printmaking and developed an appreciation for this art of infinite possibilities. Her desire to continue learning and experimenting with printmaking is constant (and constantly renewed), and since then she has been working on projects in this field and participating in exhibitions. With one hand in printmaking, she uses the other to embrace drawing and illustration: taking small steps and aiming for great journeys.
