Hilário Bravo

Born in Cáceres, Spain, in 1955, Hilario Bravo began dedicating himself intensively to various artistic activities after his contact with the Artistic Association of Guipúzcoa in 1972. In 1984 and 1985, he embarked on a journey to Berlin, followed by trips to Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, and Munich, with the main purpose of enriching his artistic education. He was an honorary guest of the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, in 1995/96. Hilario Bravo’s work is represented in numerous museums and collections. With a strong literary influence, he often combines the simplification of forms and elements inspired by nature with the inclusion of poems or words in his artwork.
