Dolores Galvez

Dolores Galvez was born in Pontevedra in 1954. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo and a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts. Her artistic work focuses primarily on painting and printmaking. With an extensive exhibition history, ranging from Spain to Canada, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal, or Lithuania, the artist has received several Painting and Printmaking Awards, including the Acquisition Award CC.OO at the Valdemoro Town Hall, Madrid (2003) and the First Prize in Painting, Pontevedra Medical College. Her artistic activity also extends to illustration, particularly in relation to poetry. Dolores Galves’ works can be found in various Museums and Foundations.
