Ana João Romana

Ana João Romana (1973) holds a degree in Painting, a Master’s degree in Printmaking, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the field of Artist Books. She has been exhibiting regularly since 1996 in Portugal and abroad. She is also a professor at the School of Arts & Design – Caldas da Rainha. Her work is focused on installation and self-published publications, with a particular interest in time and space, history, and storytelling.

In 2015, as part of the CPS’s 30th anniversary, she participated in the exhibition “1/81” at the Côa Museum, where she created a collaborative artwork with Susana Anágua at the CPS Atelier.
