Enchantments of the Borderline Series
The cities of Monsaraz, Marvão, Mourão, Castro Marim, Valença do Minho, Monsanto, Castelo Rodrigo, located on the border between Portugal and Spain, have their enchantments immortalized in the refined and concise expression of Silva Palmeira. The artist skillfully defines these landscapes with a palette of subtle contrasts, animated by strategically placed shades of red. These landscapes embody immense clarity and serene joy, perfectly capturing the grandeur and intimacy of the nature in our country.
