A Lyrical Atmosphere: Celebrating the Art of Miguel Barbosa
These serigraphy editions by Miguel Barbosa are a tribute to the renowned painter, poet, playwright, and writer, who is now celebrating his 90th birthday. Over the years, Barbosa passionately curated a collection of Paleontology, which led to the creation of the Natural History Museum of Sintra.
Among the numerous international accolades he has received, one of the highlights is the Jorge Amado Medal awarded to him by the Brazilian Union of Writers in 2009. The artist has exhibited extensively both in Portugal and abroad, including countries such as Brazil, Germany, France, and Spain. In 2001, the Portuguese Serigraphy Center published his album "Words that Speak of Love," which captures the essence of these works in a lyrical atmosphere. Couples merging in a moment of love, the synthesis and radiance of a Master's touch.
