In Dominique Coffignier's art, who was born in 1956 in Paris and has been exhibiting since 1988, the lightness of the stroke combines with the softness of color to restore to us his emotions and feelings in abstract landscapes that invite us to enjoy the mystery and beauty of space. In his prints, against the white background, the blacks create a depth that enhances the delicate calligraphy of the strokes. Writings of day and night, rhythms of clarity and astonishment that summarize the dialogue between nature and spirit.

Dominique Coffignier

French artist Dominique Coffignier, born in 1956, has been exhibiting regularly since 1988. His works bear witness to his deeply experienced and internalized reality, simultaneously realistic and magical. They are an invitation to poetry, combining lines, shapes, and muted colors in his prints, which are enhanced with painting and collage. Abstract and minimalist landscapes are brought to life by vibrant strokes of red.
