A Tribute to Leonor Fini: This captivating artwork by Mena Brito features a feline figure surrounded by cats. It pays homage to the late Italian painter, Leonor Fini, who was a master of the fantastical. Like Fini, Brito is also a passionate lover of the wisdom and allure of cats, as evident in the way they elegantly adorn the figure with a sumptuous dress. Through this artwork, Brito reveals the intimate and secret connection between the figure and the cats, creating a sense of affectionate identification.
