The series "Glimpses" by Colombian artist Guillermo Vellez reveals the mastery of its author. Executed without previous study, each layer is directly drawn on the silk screen, composing a frieze of great dramatic intensity and suggestive chromatism punctuated by black. Tormented images that remind us of important references in contemporary art, such as Francis Bacon and a gallery of expressive characters from a timeless human face that Goya shaped in his engraving.
