Luís Manuel Gaspar

Luís Manuel Gaspar is a visual artist, poet, and textual critic born in Lisbon in 1960. He has been publishing book covers and illustrations since 1986, collaborating with literary magazines. He has also exhibited his work individually and participated in collective exhibitions. In addition, Gaspar has curated and served as a consultant for various exhibitions. Aside from his visual art, Gaspar is also a poet and provides textual criticism for editions of various authors. He is one of the responsible editors, alongside Fernando Cabral Martins, Mariana Pinto dos Santos, and Sara Afonso Ferreira, for the Literary Works of José de Almada Negreiros.
