Fernando Gaspar

Fernando Gaspar was born in Portugal on March 10th, 1966. As a self-taught artist, Gaspar began his career with drawing and watercolor. Fully dedicated to his craft since 1986, he participated in his first exhibitions that same year. Gaspar regularly exhibits in major cities in Portugal, exploring and adopting new mediums, materials, and techniques. His first solo exhibition outside of Portugal took place in Belgium in 1995. He has won several national awards and has participated in over 40 group exhibitions in Europe, Asia, and South America. He has also held over 45 solo exhibitions in Portugal and various other European countries. Over the past 27 years, his work has evolved to a more reflective and contemporary approach.
