Born in the city of Viseu in 1961, this artist pursued a career in painting after completing the Painting course at the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon. Since 1981, they have been regularly exhibiting their work. From 1983 to 1986, they were a scholarship holder of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Their paintings and drawings have been showcased in various national and international exhibitions. In addition to their artistic career, they are currently part of the graphic design team at RTP (Portuguese Radio and Television) and have collaborated with Brandia on the graphic redesign of RTP in 2004.
